West Chester Senior Living Facility Fire Leaves Four Victims Missing
A five-alarm blaze caused property damage at a West Chester, Pennsylvania senior living facility on November 16, 2017. More than 130 residents were rescued, and close to 30 of them sustained personal injuries in the fire. Unfortunately, according to officials on Monday, four victims remain missing, and may have incurred fatal injuries during the fire. The missing victims include a husband and wife who are 92 years old and 89 years old respectively, and an 85-year-old woman, and a 93-year-old woman. Investigators and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms could not access the accident site until Monday due to extremely hot areas and structural issues, and Sunday’s high winds. Officials will search for the victims, and then determine the cause for the fire.
